Oops, I did it again!

That’s right folks, you guessed it – I’ve rerolled. Again.

I know I said recently that I felt I had finally found a class that I was beginning to love in Star Wars: The Old Republic, but after a short conversation with @Baskius and @MrBlunted I was convinced to reroll on a PvP server. This time there’s also a bit of a twist. We’ve gone Republic. <insert boo and hiss pantomime related sounds>.

Prior to the launch of SW:TOR I had planned on playing the Sith Assassin, as a matter of fact I’m sure in the first episode of The TORrific Podcast I stated it was the only class that I was going to play, I never really gave it much of a chance. Primarily as, yes you guessed it, I was too busy rerolling to try out the Bounty Hunter and Imperial Agent classes. So without even pondering it I dived straight into creating my Jedi Consular with the dream of one day growing up to be a big and strong Jedi Shadow. Awesome I know.

I’ll be spending my time between my old server, The Red Eclipse, and my new server, Tomb of Freedon Nadd. If anyone fancies joining me drop me a whisper in game.

  • Imperial Agent: Vakeshi
  • Jedi Shadow: Jenji

This little reroll has not only given me the opportunity to play the class that really sold SW:TOR to me, but is also letting me have a look at the Republic storyline which I had previously only seen footage of prior to SW:TOR going live.

Initially I was a little put off by just how goodie goodie the Republic feels, well at least from a Jedi’s point of view, but after playing for a short while it’s actually started to grow on me. I’m being your stereotypical Jedi – There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge… blah, blah, blah – and I’m sure a few of you will slate me for saying this, but it feels good. Yeah I don’t get to electrocute blast or choke people during cut scenes, but I do get to feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

That’s a good thing… right?
